Hey y'all! Thanks for stopping by Sweet Little Gypsy! Today I am sharing some of my Fashion/Beauty tips! Hope they come in handy for you!

1. Wal-Mart Tank Tops: 

I know what you're thinking. "Why would I want a tank top from Wal-Mart and how is that fashionable." It can be! You can get any color! They are sold mainly during Summer/Spring months. I use these as basics. I wear them under cardigans, pullovers, and under kimonos. I also buy them a little bit bigger cause I just like it better that way! You're gonna spend money on basics anyways, so why not get so really inexpensive ones! You can get them for about five bucks! #HOLLA 

2. Eye Drops

This is one of my favs, especially whenever my $23 mascara starts to run out for dry up. You gotta get every last drop! All you do is put a couple drops of eye drops into the tube and swirl your brush. Now it's good as knew! This also works great for liquid eyeliner!

3. Mascara Application

When it comes to my lashes its longer, bigger, and better! One thing that workd well for me is holding a hand mirror at an upward angle to where it loos like you are applying your mascara from below. This really works for some reason! At least for me. Try it out!

Beach Babe Braids

Hey y'all! Today on Sweet Little Gypsy we're talking braids! I love wavy messy hair and I love braids. Put the two together and I'm sold. I have seen so many pictures of boho waves with random braids pulled back or hanging down. I love love love it! I think it's so perfect for summer! It's so beachy and cool. Arm Candy

Hey y'all! Today we're talking arm candy! I love bracelets. So much. I tend to throw own about seven at a time. I just love the "arm full of bracelets look" ya know. Here are some of my favs! 

• The two cuffs are from Charming Charlie's. I got them about 2 summers ago, but I'm sure they have some similar styles! One of mine has lost a few stones, but I can't part with it! If some of yours look this way, a good tip is filling the hole in with the same color nail polish!

• The rectangle stone bracelet is from J Crew. The only thing I don't like about this is how easy the stones can get scratches. Again, I cam't part with tho one either!

Spring Details

Happy Monday everyone! I posted a while back how I was loving cobalt for spring. How cute is this blue scarf?! I love love love it! I have worn it like 23 time already. Maybe 27. Snake Heels

The newest thing on my wish-list is snake heels. I'm too obsessed. The Sam Edelman sandals in the middle need to be in my closet like yesterday. I love shoes. If you visit the world of Sweet Little Gypsy often you should know. February Favorites: Makeup

Hey y'all! Today I will be sharing my February makeup favs!


First, is Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. This was given to me as gift a while back and I never used it. Recently I gave it a try and its so amazing. It gives you the color of blush but the glow of a highlighter! What more could you want?! (A lower price, maybe).

 Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. When it comes to mascara I usually stick to drugstore because I have never really found a high end one that does any better then my Maybelline. This is wonderful though! You can find this at any Bobbi Brown counter!

Next, Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Naked Dolly. Sweet baby Jesus this is everything. The perfect shade of nude pink and the butter texture makes it even better! Just my luck that I find the perfect lipstick and its $22. The price of beauty, right?

I used to think I had to have every Mac brush. Wrong. You I don't. I am a firm believer that good makeup brushes are necessary, but you can find great ones that also don't break the bank. This powder brush is so perfect and fluffy!

Lastly, Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. I prefer Benefit Porefessional, but I can't get past the price. This drugstore one gets the job done just as good! You can find this at any drugstore!

Summer Dreamin

Today I'm sitting in my dorm while it's currently 30 something degrees outside. I want summer. It's not even Spring yet, but I don't care. Just any kind of warmer weather will do. I am blessed to have been born and raised in the South. I love it. Down here we pretty much only have two seasons, Winter and Summer. That makes me wishing for Summer in February not so crazy. I am so over boots and scarves. I am dying to break out my sundresses and wedges. For now I'll just look at pictures on Pinterest, and hopefully get off my lazy bum and get that bikini body while I still have time!

Pink Please

One thing I love is a good pink heel. Literally, they make my heart skip a beat. I love shoes period lets be honest. A fab pair of pink pumps can add a gorgeous pop of color to any outfit. Spring is right around the corner and I can't wait to have color and life again. This cold weather has got to go! Pink heels are just thing to make you feel like lady and bring some color to your wardrobe. Steve Madden always has the cutest shoes in bright colors, especially pink. These are a few I have my eye on.

Maxi Love

   First of all, how gorg is this dress. I am so in love. The low cut front just makes it even more dreamy. So breezy and free and just perfect for summer. 

   I love maxi dresses. My collection is always growing and very diverse. I feel a maxi dress is a staple in my closet. I'm 5'7 so they work well for me. Recently I have become obsessed with long sleeved maxis. Depending on the style, they can be bohemian or chic. It's all in how the dress is made and how you work it. The style I am loving is the more bohemian summer goddess style. These are some I am loving right now!

Summer Trends

Fringe has been a steady trend for awhile now, cause each time there is new interpretations of it. One thing I'm loving is fringe heels. They are just adorable to me. All That Glitters

I finally did it. I broke down and bought a Mac Mineralize Skinfinish. One word.. O B S E S S E D. I got the color Soft and Gentle. It's so perfect and I wanna put it all over by body. I have had my eye on it for a while now, and finally I got it! I can't wait till summertime when I have more of a tan. I'm gonna feel like bronze goddess rocking my J Lo glow. I am so happy with this product. Get you some ladies! Who doesn't wanna glow like J Lo?

True Life: I'm A Makeup Junkie

When I was entering high school I had absolutley no interest in makeup. At All. All my friends were getting into it with their Maybelline eyeliner and glittery purple eye shadow. My mama always asked me if I wanted any and I always said "nope". One day I guess I just took her up on her offer, one she would soon regret, and went to Walmart and bought my first products. At first it was only the basic drug store products, but then I found the world of Youtube beauty Gurus and I was Sephora bound. I credit Blair Fowler (Juicystar07) for my beauty knowledge. She has been a staple in my life since 09. My mama quickly noticed the price difference in Covergirl and Benefit. Ever since then I have been addicted. I love makeup so much, its like art for my face. I have learned so much since I started, thank God. My collection has grow and its my baby. I love trying new products, more like I'm obsessed with trying new products. Also, I'm crazy obsessed with gorgeous shimmer/glitter eyeshadow. Now I see what all the fuss was about freshman year. 

These are some products I have discovered in my makeup journey that have stolen my heart!

A Beauty Blender. You need it. Get it. It will change your life.

I'm so basic, I know, but there is a reason everybody loves this Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.

Maybelline mascaras. Literally, the best I have found. They are better than high end brands I have tried. 

Revlon Photo Ready concealer. I couldn't function with out this stuff.
